How Many Days a Week Should I Work Out?

It depends. It depends because everyone has different goals. Most of my clients want to look good and be bikini body ready. This usually means lose weight and tone up. So I suggest strength training at least three times a week.

A groundbreaking new study at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine reveals that Personal Training can have a dramatic impact on fitness levels. We’ve known it for years – now it’s official. The study reports that during a 12-week period, those working with a Personal Training for three sessions per week:

• Increased their lean body mass by 3.3 pounds, while self-trained group saw no change. • Increased muscle strength by 42% vs. 19% in self-trained group. • Increased muscle power by 10% vs. 0.1% in self-trained group. • Increased VO2 Max by 6% vs. a 3% decrease in self-trained group. The numbers are there to back it up. Click here to see the article.

Are you in the LA or Pasadena area? Try Personal Training NOW. You get 3 complimentary training sessions. This 3 part introduction allows you and I to connect on a personal level, establish your goals, based on your results, identify where to begin your program and a follow up session.
